set of skills . Quicker recovery results in a faster personal growth .

 

Resilience – Definition .

The capacity to recover from adversities & / changes , in life ,

 return quickly to a previous familiar state & use the experience

 to grow personally .

 Three key components in the definition :

1. Stress – Resilience requires stress ;

2. Durability – Effectively managing life’s daily challenges ;

3. Bouncing back – Recover from adversities & proceed .

 

In objects & materials – The ability to recover it’s shape & size after

being deformed .

 

Resilient originated from the Latin word : Resiliens . Resiliens is

the present participle of : Resilire , that means : ” jump back ” or

” recoil ” .

A better resilient disposition means , healthier level of physical &

psychological wellness , when facing life’s challenges , & less probability

of developing anxiety or depression .

 

Resilience is a learned ability , that develops during the years .
